The first batch of semi-finalist of ABS-CBN's no. 1 talent show in the Philippine kick-off their talents on the top of the stage with a live performance at PAGCOR Grand Theater in Casino Filipino, Parañaque City yesterday April 30, 2011. The first 6 showcase their talents namely, Freestylers, Brian Brandy, Light Gauge Acoustic, Madrigal Siblings, Jeremie Tampoy and Rico The Magician.
The first to perform is the Freestylers. A dance crew from Laguna. The dance is very awesome and synchonically and because of that they impressed the three judges.
Next to perform was Brian Brandy. A good boy with a big heart from America and raised here in the Philippines and speaks fluently in Tagalog. He's rendition of "May Bukas Pa" made the 2 judges Kris Aquino and Ai-ai de las Alas but receive a negative comment from Sir FMG.
The third to perform as the Light Gauge Acoustic, a duo singer and guitarist from Bacolod City. They sang together the Usher's "OMG" hit song. The two girls really admired the guitarist and recognize but the singer is just fair.
Next was the young trio siblings, Madrigal Siblings. They recieve a great comment and the 3 judges really really like their performance of "Ako ay Pilipino". Ai-ai de las Alas also added that they have a chance to win the Grand Finals.
The fourth to perform was the blind singer and pianist Jeremie Tampoy and made Luis Manzano cried during the audition. The one of the anticipated performance last night. At first, they don't really know and appreciate what Jeremie sang but they still gave her a 30 second chance to perform a much more popular song and she chose "Miley Cyrus - The Climb" in which the 3 judges really feel the song.
The last to perform was the funny, the smilling face and a good dancer, Rico The Magician. The 60-year old guy from Caloocan City. During the audition, Rico The Magician really did well, a great magic and last night as expected, his performance is very on the high level and a chance to be on the top finalist to compete for the Grand Finals. But who is much more charming and a good magician for you, Rico the Magician or Alakim?
